The Power of Experience
For decades, we’ve defined technology by what it does. It sends a message, it plays a song, and it shows you a map. But have we ALL missed the point?
The true measure of great technology isn't its list of features; it’s the experience it creates.
This past weekend in Ripon, we had a chance to show what that really means. We weren’t there for a product launch or a conference.
We were there for a friend’s 50th birthday—a mini-festival, with Graeme Park headlining and hundreds of friends and family.
And we brought a gift: our 'Enhanced Festival Environment'.
It wasn't a product. It was an extension of the moment. It was a seamless layer of information, of discovery, that allowed people to connect with their surroundings in a way they never could before. People weren't just at a party; they were exploring. They were finding out more about the music, the food, and the people around them—without ever breaking the spell of the moment.
The feedback wasn't about the technology; it was about the feeling. 'Amazement', 'Awe', 'Incredible'. And then the best part: the realisation. The questions began. 'How could this help me on holiday?' 'At a bigger festival?' 'On a city break?'
That's when you know you've created something special. When you’ve built a tool that doesn’t just solve a problem but opens up a world of new possibilities. This isn't just about festivals. This is about redefining how we experience everything. And we can't wait to show you what's next.
